  • Learn More About the Program:

The Trees For All Program is committed to increasing the number of climate-resilient trees planted in disadvantaged communities across Oregon. Thanks to funding from the Oregon Department of Forestry, we have partnered with Plant Oregon Nursery to grow and sell 4,000 climate-resilient trees at heavily subsidized cost. This incentivizes and enables tree planting organizations across the state to plant more trees in disadvantaged communities. Ultimately, the program aims to address the shortage of diverse, climate-adapted tree species by expanding nursery capacity and reducing financial risks for rural growers.

In addition to growing and planting trees, this program also supports workforce development by providing internships and job opportunities for individuals interested in urban forestry careers. Additionally, as part of the program, OUR Community Forestry hosts virtual workshops to educate community members on tree care and the environmental and social benefits of urban forestry.

    Eligibility Criteria

Because the focus of this program is to expand canopy in underserved communities, trees must be planted within the Disadvantaged Census Block Groups provided by Oregon Department of Forestry. View the map of eligible planting locations here.

Organizations seeking to purchase subsidized trees throught the program are required to document all trees purchased at the time of planting using inventory software provided by Our Community Forestry.
