Why we don’t plant Ash trees: Learn about the Emerald Ash Borer and How to Protect Our Ash Trees

The emerald ash borer (EAB) is an invasive beetle that poses a serious threat to ash trees across Oregon. Due to the growing threat of EAB in our region, OUR Community Forestry does not plant ash trees as part of our tree planting programs.

Check out these pocket guides to help you identify ash trees and learn steps you can take to help protect them.
